Join our team as a Mechanical Assembler in support of the United States Navy and our ESS Shore team.
Our Electronic Surveillance System (ESS) Shore Team specializes in installing Access Control Systems (ACS), Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS), Video Surveillance Systems (VSS) and many more, on various Military bases.
In this role, you will:
- Assist with the fabrication and assembly of various electromechanical and electronic assemblies.
- Follow blueprints, guidelines, and/or diagrams to complete tasks.
- Receive technical guidance from supervisor or higher level technician and work is reviewed for compliance with accepted practices.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance
- Ability to obtain a United States Passport
- A high school diploma/GED
- General knowledge of hand tools
- Ability to install simple electronic devices under direct supervision
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 75% of the time
In compliance with state and local laws regarding pay transparency, the salary range for this role is $31,528 to $47,292; however, Serco considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, education/training, and key skills.
