JOB SUMMARY: Performs work in the cleaning and correction of minor malfunctions of bowling pinsetter operating mechanisms.

STARTING RATE: $14.31 per hour
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- Clears all pinsetter malfunctions in an expedient manner and records malfunctions in a daily log for mechanic’s use.
- Performs minor repairs on pinsetter equipment, such as repairs, guide rollers, scissors, minor bowling ball repair, pin rotation, and cleaning of essential components; and minor adjustments.
- Clear pin jams, turret jams, ball returns, and all other calls related to the operation of the pinsetter.
- Rotate and clean bowling pins to maintain good bowling conditions.
- Changes pit carpet and ball wipes daily.
- Works under the direction of the Bowling Lanes Lead Mechanic to a full range of tasks as assigned.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience and/or training which demonstrates the potential ability to perform the duties of the position.
- Prior pinsetter experience helpful but not required.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Knowledge of cleaning materials and safety rules used in a bowling establishment.
- Ability to perform minor repairs on pinsetters, lanes and pins using mechanic hand tools.
- Ability to physically climb under, over, around and off of moving equipment in a safe manner.
