Job description
Enlist as a soldier into the United States Army and become UH-60 Helicopter Repairer who maintains and fixes UH-60 ("Black Hawk") helicopters, making sure they are safe and ready to fly in hundreds of Army missions. This is NOT a civilian contractor position. No experience is necessary. The position is entry-level.
JOB DUTIES:
- Remove and install aircraft subsystem assemblies such as engines, rotors, gearboxes, transmissions, and mechanical flight controls.
- Service and lubricate aircraft and subsystems.
- Prepare aircraft for inspections and maintenance checks.
PAID TRAINING:
- 10 weeks of Basic Training.
- 15 weeks of Technical School with on-the-job instructions.

ORGANIZATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Between 17-34 years old.

- Meet physical standards based on gender and age.
- Pass (ASVAB) .
