The Shift Industrial Multi-Craft Maintenance Tech coordinates, and safely executes, functions related to plant assets in order to achieve maximum performance and minimum unscheduled operational interruptions. This position is an integral part of the Denver team and plays a fundamental role in attaining successful outcomes.


What makes a successful OC-Denver team member:

Must haves include…

  • High School Diploma or GED and be at least 18 Years Old
  • Demonstrated Mechanical/Electrical Technical Competencies
    • Ensure Asset Operations are Maximized through Preventative Maintenance
    • Diagnose Mechanical/Electrical Issues to Determine Corrective Actions Required
    • Utilization of Schematics, Repair Manuals, Parts Catalogs, etc.
    • Strong Knowledge of Programmable Logic Controllers, Electrical and Process Control Systems
    • Ability to Adhere to/Comply with Electrical Arc Flash and Lock, Tag, Try (LTT) Safety Initiatives
  • Being Able to:
  • Train junior operations personnel on best practices specific to asset upkeep
  • Inspect equipment to identify potential problems; make timely and appropriate decisions in emergency or breakdown situations
  • Machine bores, keyways, drill press, grind; operate lathes and mills
  • Properly precision align belts, gears, or direct coupled shafts using proper tools to specified toleratnces
  • Troubleshoot circuits and controls
  • Perform preventive maintenance, repairs, installations and upgrades, root cause failure analysis, failure modes and effects analysis, reliability-centered maintenance analysis
  • Utilize manufacturing communications network effectively
  • Maintain safety awareness to ensure good safety habits are instilled and compliance with all plant safety rules, regulations and processes
  • Coordinate contract electrical installations or repairs as necessary.
  • Maintain technical knowledge by attending / reviewing educational workshops/publications, etc.
  • Operate Powered Industrial Vehicles
  • Be on call as needed, including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Read, write, and speak English


Would be terrific if you also had…

  • Basic Computer / Microsoft Office Skills
  • 5+ years production maintenance experience
  • Electrical background
  • Familiarity with drives, pumps, valves, gearboxes, and sensors

Experience with

  • Packaging, coating, cutting, conveyors, and palletizing equipment
  • ERP or CMMS system, such as SAP
  • Industrial Electrical components


There are some essential physical requirements specific to our work environment, including being able to:

  • Stand and walk for up to 12 hours straight
  • Climb and descend stairs/ladder as needed for the role
  • Do repetitive movements (hand, arm, leg; bending and twisting at the waist; bending at the knee; squatting; lift, push and pull 40-pounds)
  • Withstand exposure to
    • Temperature extremes; sounds or noise levels that may be uncomfortable
    • Moving mechanical parts and vibration
    • Elevated surfaces
