Position: Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Material Manager
Location: Hill AFB, UT
Security Clearance Required: Secret
Position Type/Standard Work Hours: Full-time/40 hours per week

Summary/Objective:
Support material management services in support for F-16 systems, sub-systems, support equipment and programs.
Primary Responsibilities:
  • The Material Manager (MM) supports a team environment and may support one or more FMS program teams in order to support MM duties and responsibilities for the foreign military customer.
    • Assist the management, administration, and operations, of supply systems and activities in order to provide equipment and supplies for foreign military customer F-16 support.
    • Support material and equipment management through all aircraft life cycle phases and milestones to include acquisition, sustainment, modification/upgrades, and repairs.
    • Support USAF material managers and prime contractors to produce an accurate listing of recommended spares and support equipment items for sustainment of the F-16 fleet.
  • Support standard supply management systems to include, but not limited to, D035, D043/143, Automated Business Services System (ABSS), CCaR, G004L, JO25A, SAMIS, DoD EMall, EDA, Haystack, and stock control systems to support program requirements.
  • Ensure both classified and unclassified material and supplies are transported to repair facilities and freight forwarder IAW current LOA, ITAR regulations, and LOA transportation plans.
  • Support program management meetings and program review meetings. Prepare and present briefings to support program meetings and prepare charts for official program reviews and present them to the F-16 customer.
Required Education and/or Experience:
  • Master of Arts (MA) / Master of Science (MS), plus 12 years of experience in the respective technical professional discipline being performed, five years of which must be in the DoD.
*OR*
  • Bachelor of Arts (BA) /Bachelor of Science (BS) degree, plus 15 years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, five of which must be in the DoD.
Recommended Education and/or Experience:
  • A minimum of ten (10) years’ experience in item management/supply/production management.
  • A minimum of ten (10) years’ experience in Government supply chain management and Air Force supply chain data systems.
  • An understanding of Air Force inventory stock control and accounting.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
This position will supervise the work of others.

Work Environment:
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment.

Physical Demands:
Must be able to operate a computer and other standard office equipment. Must be able to remain in a stationary position, 80%.

Travel:
Very little.
