Position Summary:
The Material Planner Assistant will be
responsible for assitanting with planning, monitoring, and managing the materials and products used by our company.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Pick, pack and ship merchandise or material as directed
- Unpack, verify, and record incoming merchandise or material
- Maintain stock levels for our Service and Engineering Departments
- Ensure that all deliveries are completed as scheduled
- Deliver equipment to sites and or technicians as necessary
- Perform other administrative duties as assigned
Education & Required Skills:
- Experience in an administrative/office environment, specifically in shipping and receiving preferred
- Excellent communication skills
- Proficient in MS Office software
- Highly organized
- Excellent attention to detail
- Able to prioritize and self-manage time effectively
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a can-do attitude
- Knowledge in shipping software and methods a plus
- Ability to handle heavy lifting for packing, receiving, and shipping
- Valid Driver’s License
