Where the Chemistry Happens

We are seeking a professional like you to join our Performance Chemical Division. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the material flow throughout the McIntosh, Formgiving unit. Additionally, you will be responsible for daily production transactions, managing packaged raw materials needed for offline production process, providing direction for Warehouse contractors, maintaining the Warehouse Management process, conducting daily/weekly/monthly cycle counting, and working with Operations/Supply Chain Planners/Logistics to ensure materials are staged and available for production and finished goods are available for shipping.

Qualifications - BASF recognizes institutions of Higher Education which are accredited by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation or equivalent

As a Material Coordinator you create chemistry by…

• Leading warehousing and material flow processes in the plant areas
• Allocating material, review, post, and close production documents and SAP process orders in the SAP system when needed
• Interfacing with Supply Chain, Quality Control, Production and Plant Management to ensure materials and products are available for shipment to customers when needed
• Ensuring that the workflow in the warehouse, as well as necessary paper trails, are implemented and followed. This includes working with operations to improve their management of these systems
• Ensuring inventory accuracy and perform reconciliations. You will also provide direct support to Customer Audits and Monthly / Annual Inventory Audits
• Following all appropriate Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) policies and understanding that Safety and Environmental responsibility is a major part of BASF’s principles. This includes participating in or leading some of the site ERP, 5S, and safety activities
• Providing direct support to Site Controlling for month end closing and perform other duties as needed by management

• Education and/or experience in a manufacturing environment
• Knowledge of SAP
• Strong attention to detail and teamworking abilities
• Excellent analytical and organizational skills
