Premier Martial Arts (PMA) is a national leader in Martial Arts instruction - a tremendous asset to the community and a way for children and families to grow fit, build confidence, and become leaders.

Position Overview:
An instructor at Premier Martial Arts is a person who has passion for changing lives through day to day martial arts instruction. An outgoing and servant leader personality is a must! This team member will not only teach but will inspire others to do their best. The ideal candidate will work with the Lead Instructor and Program Director to develop and provide a “best in class” experience for PMA students, families, and staff. Our goal is to be the #1 Martial Arts Studio in the area!

As a PMA Assistant Instructor you will help kids build:

Key Responsibilities:
Lead high energy, benefit driven, “edutaining” instruction for children and adults

Serve as a role model and character educator

Build and maintain positive relationships with families

Assist with the recruitment and retention of new students/members

Assist with student ranking, tracking, reporting, belt tests, and graduations

Assist with group and private intros

Assist other instructors in the management of school (class schedules, sanitation, supplies, inventory)

Represent PMA at recruitment, marketing and community events

Complete comprehensive training in PMA skills and instruction

Required Experience, Skills and Mindsets:
Personality: Team-player with a track-record of working well with others

Teaching Experience: Meaningful teaching, coaching or work w/ kids in another capacity

Martial Arts experience: Black Belt preferred (any style), but some MA experience required

Sales Experience: Ability to recruit and retain students/members via phone, email, and text

Marketing Experience: Social Media experience preferred to build brand awareness

Tenacity: Must be a problem-solver that is solutions-minded

Communication: Must be a skilled presenter and public speaker

Organization: Must be well-organized, able to manage time, and communicate professionally

Growth Mindset: Must be willing to learn, develop, receive and implement constructive feedback

Preferred Experiences and Skills:
PMA will help you learn their style of Mixed Martial Arts - some martial experience is required; expert level training is preferred

Experience as a youth sports coach, trainer or PE teacher preferred; other comparable experience such as camp counselor also acceptable

Experience in sales, marketing, or promotions

HS Diploma or GED required
