Jackson Hewitt is hiring a Marketing Traffic & Production Manager to help streamline our workflows and ensure that all marketing projects and campaigns are executed efficiently, on time, and within budget. As an integral part of our marketing team, you will be responsible for crafting project schedules, supervising the workflow of marketing and content teams, assigning project-specific tasks, handling logistics, supporting the team by removing roadblocks, and updating internal stakeholders and clients on project progress and status.

What you’ll do here:
Your main objective in this role is to streamline internal workflows, ensure all marketing assets, content & deliverables meet our quality standards, and see that projects are executed on time and according to expectations. You’ll also be responsible for the result of the campaigns we deliver. This means you’ll have to monitor their performance regularly, identify areas for improvement, and fine-tune the campaigns when necessary to ensure our Marketing assets are producing the desired outcomes (ie – click throughs, website visitors, etc)
  • Organizing the project workflow within marketing and distributing work equally to all participating team members
  • Collaborating with the rest of the marketing team to implement the relevant strategies and execute on agreed-upon marketing plans
  • Cooperating with our creative team – both internally and agency - to determine the necessary project budget
  • Building our marketing project schedules – to include marketing asset identification and specifications
  • Partnering with the analytic team to understand campaign performance and suggesting improvements to ensure our marketing initiatives deliver the promised results
  • Determining deadlines for each stage of ongoing and future projects and ensuring that the marketing team members respect them
  • Employing freelancers or temporary contractors to help with bigger projects when needed
  • Communicating with Marketing leadership to get a better understanding of their project-related preferences or update them on project status
Skills you’ll bring for success:
  • Minimum of three years of experience in Marketing Traffic Management or an associated position
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Business, Marketing, and others) is a plus
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and people management skills
  • Eagerness to work on multiple initiatives at the same time
  • Solid decision-making skills and a sense of prioritization
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (especially Excel) and project management software
