The Marketing Specialist plays a critical role in demand generation on Host Healthcare’s marketing team. This role is responsible for executing strategies that attract new travelers and improve current traveler retention. Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer and working closely with the Growth and Retention Marketing Managers, the Marketing Specialist will lead projects and initiatives that improve lead pipeline growth and overall Traveler experience.

Primary KPIs: Traveler NPS, brand equity scores, total leads and total referrals

Additional KPIs: Impressions and reach: Timely and accurate deployment of email and SMS communications, proactive brand management on internal and external platforms, and efficient vendor communication and management.


Education:

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or communications

Experience:

  • Preferred 1 year of marketing or operations experience
  • Preferred 1 year of customer service experience
  • Experience with project management is a plus

Role Responsibilities:

  • Creates and deploys prospect and traveler communications across multiple channels (email, SMS, social media, mobile app)
  • Works with data management systems to pull data, create executive summaries and reports, and tells a clear and concise story about what the data means.
  • Monitors and manages the Host Healthcare brand on external platforms to build positive relationships with prospects and travelers
  • Plans and executes traveler appreciation projects
  • Manages vendor communication and relationships to ensure projects are completed accurately, on time, and within budget
  • Shares regular project updates with relevant stakeholders, including cross-functional teams
  • Develops an understanding of what is needed to create an exceptional traveler experience
  • Leads ad hoc projects and initiatives that support Growth and Retention marketing goals
