Job description

We are a mobile dental clinic. We set up a dental clinic in assisted living facilities, and need a friendly, outgoing professional to join our team to help market our services. This is a very chill, fun, fulfilling job with a lot of contact with seniors and assisted living facility staff and personnel, and great pay. It will probably be about 30-35 hrs a week and would suit someone who wants to attend school in the late afternoon or evening. Dental knowledge helpful, but not a must.

Examples of Duties:

1. Coordinate and assist the Outreach/Marketing Director to establish dental clinic days at assisted living facilities.

2. Obtain specific health and insurance information from assisted living facility administrators in order to make appointments for dental clinic days.

3. Assist dental personnel in a mobile dental clinic; prepare and retrieve patients for exams and procedures.

4. Help set up dental clinic in assisted living facilities on clinic days.

5. Assists Outreach/Marketing director in arranging and conducting health education programs, demonstrations, special health conferences, and clinics in the community.

6. Attend health fairs and conduct community outreach.

Minimum Requirements

Education: Must possess a high school diploma or GED, or a U.S. Department of Education approved High School Equivalency Test.

In addition to the education requirement listed above, applicants must also qualify under Option A -or- Option B:

Option A: One (1) year of full-time equivalent experience directly assisting professionals in providing health or social services. Your experience must include working in a dental/medical front and back office and performing intake interviews to determine eligibility for medical or social services.

Option B: Successful completion of a Dental Assistant (DA) program (front and back office)We're a mobile dental practice in Las Vegas. We set up a mobile dental clinic in assisted living facilities and are looking for a friendly, energetic marketing assistant to help us present our services to facilities as well as engage with our senior clientele. The job is very chill, fun, fulfilling, and pays well. The hours would suit someone who is considering attending school in the afternoon or early evening(about 30-35 hrs/week). Dental knowledge is helpful but not a must. You will be reporting directly to our Outreach/Marketing Director.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour
