Intermoor are looking to hire a Marine Operative on a full time, permanent basis who will be based in Montrose. The Marine Operative will be required to assist Yard Supervisor, Senior Marine Operatives, Stock Controllers and Marine Operatives with carrying out duties to facilitate the mobilisation, demobilisation and maintenance of mooring equipment.

The successful candidate will ensure that instructions given by the Yard Supervisor and Management are carried out in a timely and efficient manner. This includes whilst off-site working at the Quayside and on occasion offshore and internationally.

Duties/Responsibilities

• Working under instruction of Senior and Middle management at various locations
• Maintenance of all items held in InterMoor equipment inventory
• Assisting with Quayside operations which will include direct contact with Client representatives
• General Yard duties including all aspects of housekeeping and stock control
• Equipment Inspection in line with guidelines on pass/fail criteria
• Possible offshore and international work including work supporting our sister company ChainCo
• Weekend Duty Responsibility
• Liaising with both Clients and the Yard team respectively with regards to current and upcoming hires and hire return

Requirements
Preferable to have sufficient experience of mooring equipment handling and inspections
Banksman & Slinger Basic Level
Fork lift truck basic certification
Full UK Driving Licence
High level of communication skills in both written and verbal
