POSITION SUMMARY: Teleflex in Maple Grove is hiring immediately Manufacturing Operators. You have the opportunity to grow your existing skills across a variety of manufacturing production areas related to catheter assembly and machine operation, utilizing a wide range of equipment, fixtures, gages, and hand tools to manufacture, assemble, and test medical device products.

SCHEDULE

• 1stshift schedule 5:00 am - 3:30 pm (Monday-Thursday), optional OT on weekends

• 2ndshift schedule 3:30 pm - 2:00 am (Monday-Thursday), optional OT on weekends

CAREER PATH:

• Level III Operators have seen career development into production leads, test services technicians, QC Inspectors, and material handlers.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manufacture, inspect, and package products following written processes

• Use a microscope to assemble small components and inspect materials.

• Utilization of microscopes, magnifiers, and small tools to complete work instruction

• Meet or exceed daily production standards

• Perform in-process quality inspections to standards and readily identify and escalate

• Comply with all policies, work instructions, quality regulations, SOPs, GMP’s, and GDPs

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment

• Follow clean room protocols (good hygiene, wearing a gown, booties, hair net & PPE).

• Cross-train across multiple operations within one or more lines following the Teleflex training program

• Perform other duties as assigned

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred

• No experience for Operator I level

• six months to two years relevant experience required for Operator II level

• Two years of relevant experience required for Operator III level

• Experience using a microscope to assemble and inspect components

• Must be able to read and understand policies, procedures, and processes written in English

• Good hand-eye coordination, attention to detail, effective communication skills, and ability to complete Assembler Quality System Training required
