Our engineering company is looking to add an Order Department/Inside Sales individual with manufacturing experience.

  • Interact with Sales, production, and logistics providers to process customer inquiries, request a quote, and orders.
  • Confirm and verify information on purchase orders, including pricing, products, freight, and payment terms.
  • Coordinate with internal departments for timely shipping.
  • Generate work orders for production.
  • Assist accounting with invoicing, past due issues, etc.
  • Respond and a resolve customer inquiries.

Preferred Skills

  • Able to handle a fast-paced office atmosphere.
  • Ability to effectively interact with internal and external associates.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills to manage and prioritize multiple issues simultaneously.

Qualifications

Minimum of 3 years of customer service, sales, or order department experience preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.50 per hour

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Troy, MI: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
