Manufacturing Engineer

The Hanline Group is a growing group of companies that serve the Produce, Trucking and Frozen Foods industries. The Group has truck brokerage operations in Columbus Ohio; Produce Operations in Shelby, Ohio and Cedar Rapids, Iowa; Frozen Foods Operation in Romulus, Michigan; and an asset-based logistics operation serving multiple locations.

We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to work in our Shelby, OH location. This individual will be utilizing our production tracking application (RedZone) to drive continuous improvement in our 3 production facilities in Shelby, Iowa, and Michigan.

Responsibilities

• Meeting with Redzone Coach to advance the app
• Coaching identified mentors in correct data reporting, huddle leading, play making, etc.
• Coaching supervisors in correct data reporting and assisting associates in usage of the app
• Assisting with building reports in tableau
• Capturing real-time measurement data for capital and cost saving initiatives
• Leveraging/benchmarking best practices and driving implementation across the organization
• Driving measurable improvements by identifying opportunities to reduce waste
• Assisting with development of admin app information
• Assisting in the execution of the operational strategy while owning the transformation on the shop floor
• Leveraging information and creating a visual data workplace
• Participating in weekly mentor meetings
• Monitoring and participating in daily huddles in departments
• Managing Kaizen projects
• Maintaining ERP and Redzone cohesion

Qualifications and Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years: Continuous improvement experience in a manufacturing, supply chain, or production environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $65,000.00 per year
