This position will be responsible to:
Manage liner services and port operations within the East Coast Region.
Manage and approve labor orders with terminal operators on CMA CGM operated Vessels.
Liaise with Head Office in Marseille, France and local Terminals on coastal vessel schedule for arrival, departure, and stowage related details for CMA CGM vessels.
Coordinates pilot, tug, linesmen and bunker activities with Boarding Agents
Manage volume and weight allocation to ensure that the vessels are at maximum capacity
Manage partners load list and ensure that partners do not exceed allocation
Order and approve with NCB on OOG reports and BB moves
Attends CMA vessels while in port to meet with vessel command to ensure vessel schedule optimization
Monitors daily production reports and communicates to HO and WC Teams accordingly.
Attend meetings with terminal operators on productivity related issues
Maintain vessel and productivity statistics, including Terminal Departure reports (TDR’s), as well as daily coastal schedules vessel baplie files
Approve and dispute port and stevedoring invoices
Review and comment on the monthly cost reports
Miscellaneous related duties or projects as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:
Understanding of vessel operations in specific terminal locations
Working knowledge of stowage and terminal operations
General knowledge of union contracts pertaining to vessel operations
Ability to communicate clear and concise directions that are vessel related
Read and understand the contractual obligations that are specific to each terminal contract
Ability to work under time constraints to ensure that vessels are dispatched within the guidelines set by HO
Must be physically fit. Must be able to board vessels in port/at sea if required.
Must be available to travel when necessary.
Ability to work at night, weekends and holidays and in adverse weather if required.

Education and Experience Requirements:
High School Diploma required.
Bachelor’s Degree preferred
Master’s License, Port Executive Program
Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in Maritime or Intermodal / Logistics fields.
Hazardous certification required.
