Reliable Healthcare is looking for an MA III in Carson City, Nevada!

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in public or business administration, finance, social sciences, mathematics or related field and three years of professional experience in the research, development, evaluation or revision of programs, organizations, methods or procedures; OR Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in public or business administration, finance, social sciences, mathematics or related field and three years of professional experience which included budgeting, accounting, and/or economic or management analysis and projections; OR graduation from high school or equivalent education and five years of professional experience as described above; OR one year of experience as a Management Analyst II in Nevada State service; OR an equivalent combination of education and experience as described above.

Description: The requested temporary Management Analyst III position will support the fiscal-related functions of the Home and Community-Based Services (HCBS) American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) initiatives. The team will be creating and processing accounts payable documents called Manual Transaction Forms, Journal Vouchers, or Purchase Vouchers for approximately 1,000+ individual Nevada Medicaid providers. The temporary staff will work closely with the DHCFP Fiscal Team and the Fiscal Agent to ensure all documents are created, entered into IFS, the State’s payment system, and reconciled accurately. Other duties include:

• Use data to develop backup documentation for manual financial transactions.
• Track and monitor payments and available funding.
• Respond to provider inquiries regarding payments.
• Review provider applications and verify eligibility for payments.
• Participate in meetings and provide talking points to leadership regarding the number of payments issued, the number of providers receiving payments, etc.
