Role:- Maintenance Technician Facilities

Location:- Waimea HI USA 96796

Work shift hours are approximately M-F from 1pm-10pm.

Description:

The facility cleaner will perform a variety of routine cleaning tasks at the research site.

Tasks will include:

Emptying trash receptacles, cleaning windows, blinds, ducts, and dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping surfaces in assigned work areas including offices, warehouse spaces, bathrooms, kitchens, and supply closets.

Cleaners will be responsible for refilling and restocking cleaning supplies, kitchen supplies, and toiletries (Hand wash, toilet paper, paper towels, coffee cups, plates, etc.)

Cleaners shall maintain cleaning products in an orderly fashion and alert supervisor when supplies need re-ordering.

The Cleaners may perform additional tasks as requested by the supervisor which may include the use of hand or powered tools such as drills and screwdrivers, and operate machinery such as floor cleaners, or power washers (With proper training and following all safety procedures)

Preferred candidate will have excellent organization and housekeeping skills, knowledge of cleaning solutions and their uses, and ability to stand for long hours preforming moderately activity for long periods of time. GED or Highschool diploma and valid drivers license is preferred, but not required. Ability to read and understand written instruction in English is preferred.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday

• Warehouse

• Waimea, HI 96796: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

• Programmable logic controllers: 1 year (Preferred)
• Mechanical knowledge: 1 year (Preferred)

Willingness to travel:

• 25% (Preferred)
