Job description

Responsible for maintenance and repair of machinery, equipment, and facilities. Familiar with basic Mechanical & Electrical concepts in predictive & preventative maintenance and machine repair. Ability to use basic hand tools such as wrenches, screw drivers, handheld power tools, and test meters (up to 600VAC) to troubleshoot and repair plant systems. INTERMEDIATE ELECTRICAL AND CONTROL WIRE TROUBLESHOOTING EXPERIECE REQUIRED

• High School diploma (or equivalent) and 5+ years of maintenance or process experience; required.
• Food processing experience preferred.

• Ensures maintenance is completed in a timely manner and works closely with Production to schedule and accomplish equipment and facility repairs.
• Comfortable with working circuits up to 600VAC, ability to troubleshoot, rewire, run conduit.
• Always maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Ensures tasks are completed in accordance with FDA, GMP, NCDA, Organic, and Kosher regulations.
• Maintains accurate records of maintenance work performed and inventory. Provide accurate and detailed turn-over when tasks are not completed.
• Provides regular status reports to maintenance management team.
• High pressure boiler, compressed air, mechanical and electrical fields, microwave, plc, aseptic experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments at same time.
• Able to lead problem solving and troubleshooting efforts associated with high-level process issues.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Good planning and priority setting skills.
• Familiar with LOTO, GMP, HACCP, OSHA regulations, and general safety requirements.
• Comfortable at heights up to 20’ and working in tight spaces.(not confined)
• Maintains company tools, ensures all guards, shields, and protective devices remain in place. Must have own basic tools necessary to preform given tasks.
• Ability to work flexible shifts and weekends as needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $27.00 per hour
