Job description

PURPOSE: To perform all duties, as needed for the Maintenance Department.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Cleaning and painting.

2. Own tools

3. Fabrication and installation of new conduit, plumbing, hose and metal tubing installation will be expected.

4. General welding, cutting, sheet metal fabrication, machine lubrication and production rebuilding.

5. Implementation of Pro-Active Scheduled Maintenance including check lists and inventory maintenance and other duties as assigned by management.

• The successful candidate should have a combination of education and experience which provided the required skill and knowledge to perform the job of maintenance helper.
• Typical qualifications would be the possession of a high school or trade school diploma, as associates degree in mechanical or equivalent training. Three to five years experience in an industrial / manufacturing maintenance environment.
• Basic knowledge of automated machine systems and mechanical aspects must be shown and may be required to be demonstrated. Skill in the use of basic shop tools and trouble shooting devices will be necessary. An ability to plan and work with other members of the maintenance and production teams are important.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.98 - $25.00 per hour
