Urban Air is seeking a full-time/part-time Maintenance Technician! This role will be responsible for the maintenance and appearance of the Park. The Maintenance Technician will assist with facilitating the repair and maintenance of our building, attractions, electric Go Karts and any associated equipment. He/she will walk the Park on a frequent basis ensuring the Park grounds are free of debris and properly maintained. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, be able to work in a fast-paced environment and will enjoy figuring out ways to address issues. RESPONSIBILITIES: • Keep accurate documentation of repair and parts inventory • Assist with repair of equipment, troubleshoot issues, and maintain the Attractions in superior working order • Responsible for maintaining work area and back end in a neat and orderly manner • Maintain supply of tools and machinery • Read and interpret diagnostics from manual • Maintain a safe work environment and assist Supervisor to ensure staff adheres to all safety rules • Advise Supervisor on any problems and/or potential problems discovered during maintenance of Attractions • Perform basic facility or maintenance repairs as directed by management • Complete daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly preventive maintenance on equipment and HVAC units as directed by management • Keep up to date with the cleanliness of the Park by deep cleaning, painting, repairs, etc. as directed by management • Maintain uniform standards and a professional appearance • Perform other related duties as assigned • Ability to work various shifts and regular attendance is a requirement for the role QUALIFICATIONS: • Must be at least 18 years of age • High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED); or minimum of one (1) year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience • Some knowledge of amusement equipment is preferred but not required • Work flexibility (nights, weekends and holidays, as needed) • Basic working knowledge of hand tools • General knowledge of related OSHA regulations and safety practices • Some skilled trades experience (HVAC, refrigeration, painting, carpentry, dry wall) What’s in this for you…. let’s talk PERKS! • Flexible hours • Great atmosphere, fun people, and a healthy environment • Develop work experience while in school or keep busy if retired! • Leadership opportunities where responsibilities and communication skills are learned.
