Primary Function:*
Join the Engineering and Maintenance group as part of a team tasked with maintaining CVD diamond and associated manufacturing equipment. This will be a hands-on role with a large amount of interaction with the site’s Equipment Engineers.

Shift Information:

• This position will work Day Shift for three quarters per year and Night Shift for one quarter per year.
• Day Shift Variations
• Sunday - Tuesday 9:45AM – 10:15PM, Wednesday 9:45AM – 4:15PM (6-hour shift)
• Thursday – Saturday 9:45AM – 10:15PM, Wednesday 3:45PM – 10:15PM (6-hour shift)

• Night Shift Variations
• Sunday - Tuesday 9:45PM – 10:15AM, Wednesday 9:45PM – 4:15AM (6-hour shift)
• Thursday – Saturday 9:45PM – 10:15AM, Wednesday 3:45AM – 10:15AM (6-hour shift)

• Daily overtime offered after 10 hours

Essential Job Functions - Responsibilities:*

• Perform preventative, corrective and diagnostic maintenance proficiently on CVD reactor technology.
• Utilize diagnostic equipment to monitor equipment performance, diagnose root cause and make reliability improvement recommendations.
• Dismantle, adjust and repair equipment according to maintenance specifications.
• Use schematics, hand tools, electrical gauges and common test equipment for calibration, diagnosis and repair of equipment.
• Write and recommend improvements to maintenance procedures and specifications.
• Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment.
• Assignments are semi-routine in nature with work performed within generally defined parameters.

Education and Experience: *(Knowledge, skills, & abilities)

• H.S. Diploma or GED required. Associates Degree highly desirable.
• Minimum of 3+ years of recent and relevant experience required.
• Ability to read schematics, wiring diagrams and mechanical prints
• Experience of using multimeters, oscilloscopes, power supplies, soldering irons and other electrical lab equipment.
• Hands-on troubleshooting skills and mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to lift up to 45 lbs
• Strong written and verbal English language communication skills.
• Excellent teamwork/interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively, both within and outside one's own work group
• Must be able to provide proof of authorization to work in the United States and must be able to provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination. Accommodation will be made on the basis of religion or disability status.
