The Club: Located on the picturesque Cape in Mashpee, Massachusetts, Willowbend Country Club offers many fantastic amenities that include award-winning championship golf, gourmet dining options, state-of-the art facilities, a grand clubhouse, and racquet sports including an extensive tennis program and pickleball courts.

The Opportunity: We are looking to add Maintenance Staff to our team Full Time! As a Maintenance Worker, you will carry out assignments as directed by the Facilities Manager as they relate to facility operations, maintenance, and equipment.

The Maintenance Worker reports directly to the Facilities Manager and works closely with he/she to profitably operate the department in a professional manner. The Maintenance Worker will also assist in other areas of operations as required and/or needed.

The Maintenance Worker must be able to work independently and be a self-starting problem solver. As required, he/she will seek information and refer to unique problems/opportunities to the Facilities Manager for clarification or interpretation of policy and/or action.

The Maintenance Worker accepts Departmental related operating recommendations and suggestions from the Membership and other staff and informs the Facilities Manager about steps of action to be taken should such member suggestions can/would be implemented.

General Duties

  • Assist maintenance personnel in the performance of facility operations maintenance and equipment maintenance.
  • Maintain all buildings and property in quality condition.
  • Carry out preventive maintenance program as directed by Facilities Manager.
  • Participate in ongoing training for maintenance personnel

Skills & Knowledge

  • Ability to deliver a high quality standard of service, consistently with emphasis on continued improvement.
  • Understanding of Club operations, organizational and sales techniques.
  • Ability to train, motivate and supervise.
  • Strong oral, and written communication skills.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma
  • Working knowledge of 3 phase power systems/commercial plumbing systems, HVAC systems/computer controlled systems.
  • Valid Massachusetts’s driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
  • Must be available to work overtime, weekends and off hours
  • Ability to work with limited supervision.
  • Ability to read, comprehend, carry out instruction.
  • 2 or more years experience in Refrigeration, Electrical Systems, HVAC and Mechanical systems preferred
