Greater Nevada Credit Union is looking for a Facilities Specialist (Maintenance Specialist) with a passion for Helping More People Live Greater.

About The Position:

The Facilities Specialist (Maintenance Specialist) is responsible for managing and maintaining various projects in relation to the repair and maintenance of equipment and facilities in and around the various Greater Nevada locations and assist with the daily operations of the purchasing and mailroom sections.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Utilize common hand and power tools to perform assignments in a safe and professional manner.
  • Assist on joint projects to include remodel and new construction activities.
  • Investigate and recommend to Facilities Manager cost-effective materials and procedures to complete the various tasks assigned, obtain bids, read blueprints and schedule projects.
  • Perform emergency and routine maintenance on buildings and equipment at all Greater Nevada locations using accepted maintenance procedures and practices.
  • Create and maintain data base records accurately of tool inventory, HVAC service intervals, condition reports and other records as required.
  • Conduct research into new equipment and service vendors and present recommendations.

Compensation

$38,000.00-$54,000.00 per year

Preferred Qualifications

Skills

  • Proficiency in utilizing a variety of common hand and power tools to perform assignments in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform basic maintenance repairs such as drywall, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, etc.
  • Demonstrated ability to interact respectfully with Greater Nevada team members and external vendors to solve facilities issues.
  • Utilize a computerized work order system to prioritize and monitor assigned maintenance tasks.
  • Proficiency in Excel with ability to establish maintenance logs, condition logs and tool inventory.
  • Demonstrated computer skills that support working with software programs to manage and monitor business equipment such as ATMs, alarm and security systems.

Physical Demands

  • While performing the duties of your job, you may regularly be required to sit and use a keyboard, mouse, multiple monitors, telephone (including repetitive motions with hands, fingers, arms, etc.) for extended periods of time. You may also frequently be required to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms, bend, and kneel.
  • You may be occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
