Taldeco seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Preventative Maintenance Planner to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective preventive maintenance programs for our equipment, ensuring that they operate efficiently and reliably. This role is for a highly automated tier-1 automotive supplier.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain a preventive maintenance schedule for all equipment, including regular inspections, lubrication, and calibration activities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather equipment data, analyze historical performance, and identify critical maintenance tasks.
• Conduct regular equipment assessments to determine maintenance requirements and update schedules accordingly.
• Create and update maintenance work orders, ensuring accuracy and completeness of information.
• Coordinate with maintenance technicians and external vendors to schedule and execute preventive maintenance activities.
• Monitor and analyze maintenance data, such as equipment performance metrics, downtime records, and maintenance costs, to identify improvement opportunities.
• Conduct root cause analysis to determine the underlying causes of equipment failures and develop strategies to prevent their recurrence.
• Stay updated with industry best practices, emerging technologies, and regulatory requirements related to preventive maintenance.
• Collaborate with the procurement team to ensure timely availability of spare parts and materials needed for preventive maintenance activities.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a preventive maintenance planner or similar role, preferably in [industry/sector].
• Solid understanding of preventive maintenance principles and strategies.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in recording and maintaining maintenance-related documentation.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00 - $33.00 per hour
