Job Description
The Maintenance Mechanic position will perform the following duties:
Schedule will be Sunday night-Thursday night - 11:00pm - 730am (must be flexible)
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Candidate must be dependable self-starter, capable and willing to work flexible hours, ability to respond to emergency situations.
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Ongoing education
Must be certified to operate powered industrial truck.
Preferred Qualifications
Prior industrial mechanical experience is preferred. Experience in plumbing, electrical, various controls, fire protection systems, hydraulics and refrigeration a plus.
Experience with ammonia based refrigeration systems a plus.

Job Description
The Maintenance Mechanic position will perform the following duties:
Schedule will be Sunday night-Thursday night - 11:00pm - 730am (must be flexible)
- Maintains and repairs all building systems, including forklifts, batteries, battery chargers, HVAC equipment, refrigeration system, dock doors and ramps, sprinkler system, roof and all electrical services
- Inspects various equipment and building areas, including, but not limited to air compressors, roof and roof mounted equipment and sprinkler systems; record data from inspections
- Test sprinkler systems water flow, tamper switches and sprinkler system alarm. Test fire pump and alarm
- Inspects all equipment and repair or replace as necessary to avoid down time. Inspect, lubricates and cleans condensers and evaporators. Inspects and lubricates freezer and cooler doors and performs needed repairs
- Performs annual inspections on refrigeration compressors, including change oil and filter, disassemble compressor for internal inspection and align mechanical couplings
- Designs and constructs carpentry items as needed
- Restroom facilities maintenance as needed
- Maintains knowledge of systems and buildings
