Job description

• We are seeking individuals to join our maintenance team. We are a blending & high-speed packaging facility that produces food-grade dry powders.

This Maintenance Technician should be able to work independently and with other plant personnel to perform preventative and routine maintenance.

Other responsibilities include:

• Troubleshooting
• Replacing and repairing equipment
• Training production operators
• Special projects when assigned by management while ensuring all safety procedures and practices are followed
• Should be a team player and able to work in a team environment
• Participation is required in maintenance training programs to improve knowledge and skills

Qualifications:

• 2 years maintenance experience (preferred)
• Ability to be proactive (self-starter)
• Ability to follow instructions.
• Demonstrates safety first mindset
• Strong mechanical skills
• Ability to diagnose equipment problems
• Highly motivated problem solver
• Basic computer skills
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written
• Experience with industrial electrical systems (3 phase power)
• Experience with low voltage (control voltage)
• Knowledge of electric hand tools
• Understanding of sensors, eyes, and level controls
