As the Maintenance Assistant (Plant Operations), you will work hand in hand with the Plant Operations Director and are responsible for ensuring that the community is attractive and well-maintained and safe for our residents and staff.

Full-Time Position including Weekends

• Effective communicator who connects with staff, residents and their families
• Experience in maintenance and repair of machinery, equipment and building
• Knowledge of fire and safety regulations
• Ability to work with outside vendors and monitor their work
• Experience in safe electrical and plumbing repair
• Innovative thinker who brings new ideas to the table
• Demonstrate good judgment, problem solving and decision-making skills
• Ownership attitude who is able to stay focused despite interruptions throughout the day

What you can expect to do as a Maintenance Assistant (Plant Operations) for Heritage Springs:

• Make a significant contribution to the quality of life our residents by maintaining the highest possible quality and consistency
• Demonstrate organizational skills around time management
• Willing and able to adapt to changing demands of the maintenance department and fulfill any job that is required
• Available and on call for emergencies day and night. Demonstrate organizational skills around time management
• Responsible for preventive maintenance of interior and exterior of buildings and equipment
• Make repairs in occupied apartments, as well as repaint and shampoo carpets in turnover unit
• Actively participates as a member of a team and committed to working toward team goals
• Promote the mission, values and beliefs of Cascade Living
• Participate in required monthly training
