Will begin an academic Industrial Technology Certificate program from Kellogg Community College while working and learning on site in our Battle Creek site from some of the best in the business. During your time here we don’t want you to sweat the small stuff so BASF will cover the entire cost of your educational program, including books!

When you’re not studying you will have opportunities to…

Work hands-on in our Battle Creek, MI battery materials plant you will learn to:

• perform regular production troubleshooting as well as minor and preventative maintenance as required.

• monitor and perform necessary equipment setting adjustments as necessary based on prescribed recipe in designated work area and record all changes.

• perform quality control checks and helps maintain customer requirements according to specifications, while also maintaining ISO standards – 9001 and 14001.

Qualifications - BASF recognizes institutions of Higher Education which are accredited by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation or equivalent

If you…

Have a HS Diploma or GED

Are willing to work in a plant environment and able to lift 50lbs

Are able to work 12-hour rotating shifts (day OR night/weekends and holidays)

Are willing to enroll in an academic program to launch a career in Manufacturing
