Job Description:
Provides skilled nursing care and instruction for newborn, pediatric, adult, and geriatric home bound patients under physician orders and in accordance with established LVN nursing standards, practices, and agency policies/ procedures under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. Cross-train for and flex into patient-related tasks in the office as needed to maximize staffing.
Education:
  • Graduate of an Accredited School of Licensed Vocational/Practical Nurse Program - Required
Experience:
  • 1 year Healthcare - Acute Care - Preferred
  • Healthcare - Home Care - Preferred
  • Healthcare - Community Health - Preferred
Certifications/Licensures:
  • LVN Licensed Vocational Nurse - California Board of Vocational Nursing and Psychiatric Technicians - Required
  • California Driver's License - Proof of Good Driving Record and current Car Insurance - Required
  • BLS Basic Life Support - American Heart Association - Required
Skills:
  • Knowledge of nursing care within the scope of LVN license and ability to adapt to a variety of home care situations.
  • Ability and willingness to accept direction and work with administration.
Work Shift:
08.0 - 08:00 - 16:30 (United States of America)
Pay Range:
$33.50 - $46.88
Offer amounts are based on demonstrated/relevant experience and/or licensure.

Note: Positions at JMH which are exempt (not eligible for overtime) under the level of Manager are listed as hourly for compensation purposes on this posting. The work shift will contain the word ‘exempt’ on it.
