Logistics Specialists
Who We Are Looking For
Sioux City, IA has an immediate full-time Logistics Specialist position available. This is a Monday through Friday, 7 am – 5 pm position with benefits. Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not required.
The Logistics Specialist makes all necessary shipping arrangements with various freight carriers. Responsible for receiving all incoming shipments and perform receiving operations in accordance with company policy.
What You Will Do
- Operate fork truck, pallet jack and hand cart.
- Properly load trucks to prevent loss or damage during transit.
- Build export & domestic shipping crates, pack & secure contents to prevent loss or damage during transit.
- Use all types of hand tools
- Safely lift all equipment and materials as the job may require, to a maximum of 75 lbs.
- Unload incoming shipments
- Maintain accurate inventory counts.
- Other responsibilities as assigned.
What You Will Bring
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Ability to communicate effectively with peers, managers and across departments.
- Ability to read, write and use basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication and division).
