Overview:
Responsibilities:
Challenger Lifts, Inc., a division of Snap-on is seeking a candidate to coordinate the day-to-day operation of all aspects of logistics (distribution, shipping/receiving, inventory control). Liaison between Challenger Lifts and 3rd Party Logistics Vendor.
Responsibilities:
- Perform various administrative duties; oversee, monitor, and sustain dispatch & progress of orders in a timely manner and meet delivery requirements.
- Identify and communicate daily, weekly, and monthly shipping goals.
- Coordinate cross-departmentally with inventory control, production, production scheduling, sales management, customer service, and warehouse shipping/receiving teams to generate weekly shipping priority list. Work with 3rd Party Logistics partner to execute shipping schedule.
- Work closely with both IT and purchasing department.
- Data Entry In ERP System (LN)
- Corroborate freight bills and process bill of ladings
- Process outbound freight/shipments
- Troubleshoot complex issues
- Process returns
- Process International Shipments
- Other duties as assigned
- High school diploma or GED.
- Good and punctual attendance record.
- Full knowledge of standard practices in logistics and supply chain.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Work flexible hours (i.e., overtime as required).
- Experience with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Access (or willingness to complete training and demonstrate skill mastery if required) to meet requirements of position.
- Must be able to demonstrate initiative.
- Must possess good problem solving, analytical and critical thinking skills.
