Our U.S. International Logistics team is seeking an Logistics Coordinator with 2-4 years experience in Air freight forwarding for the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.

The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for organizing international outbound shipments in line with temperature control requirements and the Group QA & EHS policies. He/she is accountable for the most appropriate transport solution in accordance with CRYOPDPs premium service offer and the customer's requirements: route, sustainable mode of transport (air, train, road, multimodal), transit time and cost.

Eligible candidates will be experienced in:

  • Airfreight forwarding (for passenger and cargo airlines) with certifications in, or knowledge of, IATA, Dangerous Goods, GxP, HMRC, CAPA and CAA.
  • The knowledge of compliance regulations and guidelines for GDP, HMRC, MHRA, IATA and CAA.
  • Import and/or export licensure and demonstrate experience with Controlled Drugs.
  • The ability to meet deadlines, creative problem solving and accurate decision-making.
  • The preparation of export documentation in accordance with U.S. regulations and in compliance with government agencies for each shipment.
  • Coordinating routes of inbound export shipments and sending pre-alerts to destination offices and agents in a timely manner.
  • Job file invoicing/billing (providing all information required to ensure accuracy in the billing process).
  • Coordinating tasks on shipments in order to meet customers SOP requirements such as booking approvals, processing pre-alerts, governmental filings, executing delivery, ensuring proper invoicing, etc.
  • Operational document filing including, but not limited to; Post Flights, PODs, Docstore (internal archiving system).
  • Providing operational excellence with effective interpersonal skills; the ability to relate to internal peers at different levels as well as external customers and vendors.

Responsibilities for this important role will include:

  • Ensuring the growth, satisfaction and retention of customers by reason of exceptional communication skills and operational excellence with customers, suppliers and team members.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage customer requests.
  • The ability to respond to and resolve customer concerns promptly and effectively (internally and externally) under the direction of the Logistics Manager.
  • Documenting consignment notes (and monitoring shipment progress/update milestones) into TMS (Transport Management System).
  • Liaising with company’s vendors for updates, cost, routing options, etc.
  • Coordinating and arranging export freight with CRYOPDP overseas offices, U.S. agents and partners.
  • Coordinating activities and documents (including set-up files for pre-alerts received), maintaining customer updates, preparing export documents for Customs Brokers, selecting and dispatching agents or LSPs, arranging deliveries to customers, checking status on shipments, checking PODs and charges, tracking cargo from origin to final destination and following up shipments for final ETA date.

Pay: $55,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
