CSI is looking to hire an analytical and organized person for the Logistics Analyst position.

The Logistics Analyst will execute and oversee export and other logistics functions by ensuring trade compliance, scheduling freight, communicating directly with international customers, processing international documentation, and driving process improvement through automation. To successfully perform this role, an individual will be self-motivated, willing to take initiative, attentive to detail, and knowledgeable of export and shipping regulations, processes, and documentation requirements.

Salary: $25 - $28 an hour

This position will office in our Knoxville, TN location.

Education/Training:

High School diploma or equivalent, required

• Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Masters, etc.) preferred, but not required
• 3+ years related work or relevant military experience
• Import and export licenses and regulations
• 1+ years of experience filing AES
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, and Powerpoint)

Experience/Skills:

• Knowledge of systems such as Epicor ERP or Prophet 21, UPS Worldship
• FedEx Ship Manage
• Experience with Export Control, Transportation, Warehousing, and Freight

More than 40 hours per week may occasionally be required to achieve the productivity necessary for this position.
This position requires the ability to interact with employees verbally and in writing, remain in a stationary position for 80% of the workday, have close visual acuity, and constantly operate a computer and other office productivity equipment, such as a phone, copy/fax/scan machine, computer keyboard and mouse with or without reasonable accommodation. This position also requires the ability to occasionally lift, stoop, bend, and lift office products and supplies, up to 20 pounds.
