Part-Time Logistics Coordinator for International Student/ Au Pair Program

Our organization is looking for a responsible and energetic logistics coordinator to join our team. In this position, you will be in charge of planning and implementing the logistical aspects of our weekend class Photography in Miami/Key West, including transportation, meals, daytrips and activities. The logistics coordinator works in close contact with the Program Director to help plan and execute the classes and serves a key leadership role in the program.

The successful candidate must demonstrate strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.

Responsibilities:

· Responsible for hotel check-in for students: providing hotel information, distributing keys, etc.

· Supervise logistics, transportation, and customer services.

· Respond to any issues or complaints.

Additional Responsibilities:

· Lead student groups on daytrips, including walking tours, museum visits, and other activities relevant to the class.

· Track and monitor students for attendance and assignments.

· Assist throughout the weekend as needed with all aspects of the weekend class

Requirements:

· Bachelor’s degree in business administration, logistics, or relevant field.

· Experience in event planning.

· A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role.

· Great knowledge of Miami/Miami Beach

· Excellent analytical, problem solving, organizational abilities and interpersonal communication skills.

· Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

- Spanish speaker a must

· International experience is a big plus, preferably living abroad experience and/or working with international students.

Work Schedule:

This class will run 5-6 times per year. Next class is June 1-4, big plus if you are available then. The class lasts 4 days, approximately 45 hours per class.

Compensation:

This is a part-time, independent contractor position (1099) where you will be paid on an hourly basis. Hourly rate is $20/hr.
