TERMINAL MANAGER
Dalton, GA.
Tidewater Transit- a leader in the bulk transport industry is seeking a Terminal Manger to lead our Dalton, GA. operation.
Ideal candidate will be computer literate, able to work in a fast paced environment and have past transportation management experience.

Terminal Managers are responsible for the complete oversight of terminal operations including coordinating dispatch, verifying and reviewing paperwork, staffing, insuring compliance with operating, safety, and quality policies and procedures and communicating with customers.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with Tidewater Transit operating procedures.
- Analyzing and implementing effective solutions to business challenges.
- Review monthly Profit and Loss statements.
- Monitor and review dispatch procedures for planning and efficiency.
- Monitor and review tractor and trailer monthly revenue reports.
- Monitor and review log hours for drivers.
- Implement strategies to maximize efficiency of equipment and drivers.
- Monitor terminal operating costs.
- Terminal staffing decisions.
- Review and evaluate the performance of terminal and staff.
- Ensure completion of training of all terminal personnel on Tidewater.Transit Operating Procedures:
- Participate in customer meetings.
- Management of shop operations.
- Review equipment files including inspections and maintenance schedules.
- Oversight of terminal purchases and inventory.
- Plan, implement and evaluate operating procedures for new customer requirements.
