Come Join MCCU as our Commercial Servicing Specialist!!!!

The Commercial Servicing Specialists’ primary responsibility will be to perform all aspects of maintaining, closing, and servicing processes for commercial loans. This position will serve as a backup to the Business Banking Officer or Commercial Loan Processor job functions.

Responsibilities

• Processes all post-closing modification requests in partnership with internal and external partners, including entries to core system and completion of and recording of documents as appropriate.
• Files original documents that are housed internally and maintains a clear and organized system as to easily be identified and retrieved.
• Manage and maintain tickler items in loan origination system, while working with the Commercial Loan Officers to keep updated. This will include a variety of communication styles such as phone calls, emails and letters to members.
• Prepare commercial department lien releases and commercial loan satisfactions for paid off loans or requests in conjunction with loan closings.
• Perform loan maintenance to ensure accuracy within MCCU’s core system.
• Responsible for the electronic filing of real estate documents as well as any UCC documents to be recorded with the State or County.
• Scan and upload original documents, once signed, to the appropriate place. This would include our loan origination system as well as a third-party vendor if applicable.
• Assist in the reviewing of loan closing fees per loan prior to closing to ensure accurate fees and disbursements.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in the financial industry, preferably in commercial related lending; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Associate degree in Accounting or Business preferred.
• Ability to prioritize in an efficient manner is necessary.
• Develops and maintains positive relationships with prospective or existing members and co-workers.
• Coordinates multiple projects and conflicting priorities to provide efficient service.
