The Merion Cricket Club is looking to add to our upbeat team. Seeking all levels of experience. If you are a culinary veteran, you will work alongside our experienced and extremely talented sous chefs. For candidates seeking banquet and catering experience, we host a wide range of parties and events that range from basic menu fare to extravagant buffet presentations. If you are fairly new to the culinary environment, you will gain experience on a la carte lines that produce a wide range of meals. Successful candidates will possess a willingness to learn, desire to grow, work well with others, and have the drive to succeed in this high volume, fast-paced environment.

Line Cook Responsibilities include:

• Preparing good tasting food with excellent presentation
• Preparing food properly in allotted time frame
• Maintaining a clean, sanitary, organized station
• Adhering to proper food storage practices

Line Cook Experience and Job Requirements:

• Formal culinary training is preferred but not necessary
• Knife/cutting skills
• Ability to follow recipes accurately
• Knowledge of cooking techniques
• Flexible availability
• ServSafe certification is a plus
• Professional appearance and pride in work

Our culinary team is looking for individuals with a positive attitude and friendly manner desiring to work in an upscale setting. Prep and Line Cook positions are available in multiple kitchen work stations including: garde manger, grill, sauté, and fry. Including our new bistro at our resort style pool.
