Tradebe's Subsidiary, Norlite Corporation, operates two high-temperature rotary kilns that use recycled fuels and other recoverable products to produce a lightweight aggregate that is used in bridges, buildings, specialized fill, and growing media for green roofs. Norlite achieves 99.9995% destruction removal efficiency on the most difficult to incinerate organic materials. Processes are in place at Norlite to ensure the integrity of the waste storage tanks and kiln system. Operating conditions are constantly monitored to ensure that fuel is burned completely. In addition, emissions are carefully monitored, controlled and treated to prevent air pollution. Norlite sets the standard found in the new hazardous waste combustor MACT regulations for lightweight aggregate kilns.

Main Purpose


The Lightweight Aggregate Sales Manager, is responsible for developing and implementing a strategy to increase our presence in the lightweight aggregate marketplace, while supporting their team and customers. The Lightweight Aggregate Sales Manager directly manages the team of Account Managers, while also leading sales activities in an assigned sales territory.

Key job responsibilities


  • Responsible for the development and implementation of the Norlite direct sales strategy to grow and maintain our current customer base, as well as develop new customers to achieve desired sales objectives and goals within specified time frame
  • Drive activities in a manner that increases brand awareness, product presence and revenue generation for all Norlite products
  • Understand, assess, and anticipate customers’ objectives, strategies, and requirements to identify and pursue sales opportunities
  • Drives activities in a manner that increases brand awareness, product presence and revenue generation for all company products
  • Develop and nurture strong customer contacts and positive, proactive relationships ensuring open streams of communication
  • Learn, maintain and apply overall knowledge and technical information as it relates to the sale of all Norlite products
  • Serve as primary interface for assigned customers/region
  • Follow-up on the status of quotations and bids in order to secure new business
  • Participate in local, regional, and national trade associations and trade /industry shows
  • Analyze market opportunities and threats
  • Manage own individual book of business and budget of Sales goals

Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required or a minimum of five years of relevant experience in a leadership role
  • Must have ability to assist and educate customers on the technical aspects of using Norlite’s products. Experience in a concrete related field is preferred.
  • The selected candidate must be able to travel within assigned territory making sales calls to current and prospective new customers - Overnight travel is required
  • Verbal and written communication skills to present Norlite’s line of products
  • Must have a working knowledge of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • The ability to multi-task in fast-paced environment in order to achieve goals, is required

Salary Range: $100k - $140k
