About the Position:

The Lifeboat and Resource Administrator will be responsible for the administrative duties related to two NOMV programs: 1) Lifeboat (providing anonymous peer support) and 2) Resource (providing grants and referrals). They will work directly with the respective volunteer-led steering committees for each program and correspond with the recipients of program activities. They will ensure that scheduling, communications, and information management are all done with quality and completed in a timely manner for both programs. They will ensure confidentiality, safety, and security for recipients of program funds and activities. They will communicate with kindness, compassion, and understanding to those in crisis.

Tasks include:

  • Performs day-to-day duties for resource program (support grants)Administers grant applications for individuals and clinics

Creates funding proposals and tracks voting by resource committee members
Tracks funding decisions and grant payments
Performs employment checks and ID checks
Corresponds with applicants and grantees

  • Performs day-to-day duties for resource program (referrals)Corresponds with the program committee - including assisting with onboarding, training, and supporting their volunteer activities through regular communication

Inputs referral data into public database

  • Performs day-to-day duties for lifeboat programRecruit and manage all Lifeboat peer support volunteers - including onboarding, training, scheduling, and supporting them through regular communication

Ensure daily oversight of the Lifeboat program including monitoring the app, troubleshooting, and ensuring communication and engagement
Perform administrator responsibilities for Lifeboat users, and ensure that the actions are performed within the prescribed amount of time
Facilitate Lifeboat Steering Committee and Lifeboat App Development meetings, providing agendas and taking notes
Serve as communications coordinator between volunteers, partners, staff, and leadership

  • Collaborates with other NOMV staff to create awareness of both of the programs they are administering and collaborate on cross-pollinated projects
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Education relevant to the position
  • A minimum of 2 years experience in administrative work
  • Experience with and knowledge of Google Workplace (especially Google Docs, Google Sheets, Google Forms, and Google Slides)
  • Experience with Salesforce
  • Experience with volunteer coordination
  • Experience with virtual meetings, electronic communications, and long-distance scheduling and support
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable learning new technologies
  • Willing and able to work from home*
  • Willing to travel at least once and up to as many as five times annually for work events*
