We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Life Enrichment Director like YOU to join our growing team of professionals in Providence, RI!

JOB PURPOSE:
The Life Enrichment Director directs and supervises the Terrace Program (early-stage dementia care) by following a program of activities designed to meet the physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being of each resident in accordance with a comprehensive assessment.

REQUIREMENTS:

• High School Diploma required. College degree preferred

• Activities Certification preferred

• Must be a Certified Dementia Practitioner (CDP) or able to obtain upon hire

• Previous experience working with early-stage dementia is preferable

• Must have a working knowledge of failure free approaches to activities and ADLs

• Comfortable with working with computers, tablets, laptops, etc.

• Strong verbal and written communications

• Ability to organize, plan and supervise group recreational activities required

• Valid Class D driver's license in state working, and a clean driving record required

• Awareness of state and federal requirements in geriatric care required
