Job Description:

Amanecer's LPCC will work as Clinical Team Member with Behavior Management Specialist and/or Comprehensive Community Support Specialist. Must possess/demonstrate direct experience in serving children/adolescents/adults with, or at high risk for, multiple and complex cognitive and/or behavioral health care needs. Must adhere to all applicable State, Federal, and Agency standards as well as policies and procedures; adheres to the practice of quality assurance as directed; and complies with Agency performance measures.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for intake process, assessment, crisis stabilization, individual therapy and/or family therapy.
• Responsible in providing cognitive therapeutic counseling to assigned clients in office, home, via teleconference and/or school.
• Responsible for maintaining all documentation in client record, such as psychosocial assessment, mental health status report, treatment plan, safety plan, initial discharge plan and progress notes.

• Collaborate with programs consisting of Behavior Management Services and/or Comprehensive Community Support.
• Must possess/demonstrate direct experience in serving children/adolescents /adults with, or at high risk for, multiple and complex cognitive and/or behavioral health care needs.

Requirements:

• Has successfully completed Master’s level education in the field of Counseling from an accredited University, and other fields as approved by the State of New Mexico.
• Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) with comprehensive clinical training/experience. Must be licensed in New Mexico.
• Knowledgeable of the cultural, social, and economic background of our diverse populations being served and their communities (Deming, Sunland Park, Santa Teresa, Anthony, Chaparral, Vado, Las Cruces) at Amanecer.
• Conflict Resolution Skills Proficiency
• Time Management Skills
• Demonstrates skills i written and verbal communication
• Proficient with MS Office Word and Excel

• Bilingual (Spanish/English)
• Availability to work evening hours
• Possession of First Aid and CPR certification
• CPI Certification
• T.B. Test
• Fingerprint Clearance
• Valid Driver’s License

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
