Overview:

Excellent opportunity to join our clinical team as a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) within a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC). You will render nursing care in Cherokee County to meet individualized patient's needs, according to dependent and independent nursing functions in conformance with recognized nursing techniques, procedures, and established standards under the direction of a physician or health care provider.

Excellent pay up to $29.00 per hour with excellent full-time benefits. Sign on bonus and quarterly incentive.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Includes but not limited to: all the duties of a Certified/Registered Medical Assistant.
• You will perform delegated independent nursing functions using established procedures, policies, guidelines, and standards in accordance with the South Carolina Nursing Practice ethical and professional guidelines.
• You will accurately documents pertinent observations and interventions in the Electronic Medical Record to aid in the development of the patient centered care plan and the delivery of quality and equitable health care.
• You will carry out physician orders timely and accurately.
• You will maintain quality control standards, logs, and point of care testing.
• You will provide instruction/teaching to the patient relative to identified medical and psychosocial problems/needs to aid in positive outcomes.
• You will attends required Clinical and Health Center in-service programs.
• You will demonstrate responsibility and accountability for professional practice, continued growth, and self-evaluation.
• You must comply with the ReGenesis Health Care infection control policies and procedures including Body Substance Isolation (BSI) and the exposure Control Plan which reflects OSHA Bloodborne Pathogens Standard to ensure a safe working environment for self and others.
• You must maintain appropriate licensure and participates in continuing education activities to exemplify the Licensed Practical Nurse.
• You must ensure and uphold the confidentially requirements of all patient records, and manage all daily tasks and activities consistent with HIPAA, state and federal laws and regulations, as well as the clinic’s policies and regulations regarding confidentiality and security.
