Title: Licensed Practical Nurse
Contract Weeks: 13 Weeks (possible Extension)
Shift: variable shifts
Location: Waterville, Maine
Responsibilities may include but not limited to:
Responsibilities of LPN :
- Assess patient needs, develop and implement nursing care plans, and document patient progress
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor patient vital signs and assess physical and psychological condition
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
- Educate patients and their families about health maintenance and disease prevention
- Maintain accurate patient medical records
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment
- Follow established standards and procedures for delivering quality care
- Utilize medical equipment and technology to provide the highest quality of care
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or related field
- Experience in Long term Care
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of current healthcare practices and standards
Certifications:
- Valid BLS/ACLS certification
- State license
