Aspire Living & Learning, Inc. is seeking a positive addition to our team as a part time Licensed Practical Nurse.

As an LPN in our program, you will participate in the delivery of health care services to group home residents as well as be responsible for the direct care needs of the residents. Some of the key components of this:

  • Be part of the staffing minimums within the group home setting, providing direct nursing services to the residents.
  • Be an active member of a collaborative team by participating in the intervention process formulating resolutions. Part of the collaborative process will be to advocate for the residents, promoting dignity and respect, through the Individual Service Planning process.
  • Dispense medications as needed, following MAP (Medication Administration Program) policies and procedures.
  • Oversee the medical aspects of the residents such as participating in medical appointments and hospital/Emergency Department visits when necessary. Medical expertise will be used to provide necessary health related training.
  • Support both I/DD and ABI adults in home and day setting.

Candidates must be a Licensed Practical Nurse with a valid Massachusetts Driver's License. Candidates must also be able to successfully pass a criminal background check (CORI), reference and national fingerprinting and driving record checks.
