Job Type: Full-time Contract 14 weeks
Schedule: 6:30pm-7am

Job Description: The Licensed Practical Nurse will observe patients under treatment to identify progress, side-effects of medications etc. The LPN will administer injections, prescribed medications, enemas etc., clean and dress wounds and assist with other basic medical care tasks.

The employee is frequently required to move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc. The employee is occasionally required to stand; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

- Consults, follows and documents with sufficient detail nursing care according to facility policy and procedures
- When policies do not comprehensively cover the nursing/administrative practice, initiates supervision with nursings chain of command, medical staff and/or administrator-on-call if afterhours
- Effectively communicates with the medical staff, receives verbal/written orders and takes care to minimize abbreviation or other errors
Required Qualifications:
- Valid state LPN license
- At least 1 year of experience
- BLS
