These career opportunities are available through a collaborative partnership between Liberty Healthcare and the South Carolina Department of Mental Health.

As a Licensed Mental Health Professional with Liberty Healthcare, you will have the opportunity to serve your local community and significantly improve the mental health and quality of life of children, adolescents, adults and their families.

You have the option of working in several different settings - including the outpatient mental health clinics, crisis stabilization centers, inpatient psychiatric hospitals, as well as elementary, middle and high schools.

You will enjoy a dynamic job description which will focus on providing compassionate care to your clients who are on a journey towards improved mental and behavioral health.

Your daily work may include mental health screening, assessment, crisis intervention, emergency services, individual therapy, family therapy, group therapy, case management, education, and consultation services.

You are a good fit for this position if you hold one of the following professional licenses in South Carolina:

• Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)

• Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)

• Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW)

• Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW)

As well, you should have a high level of compassion towards people who are experiencing mental illness and be comfortable working with other professionals in a multi-disciplinary environment.
