Job Description: Associate LCSW

Mode – Remote (Tele health)/ Home/Clinic

Mom’s belief has the mission to empower families of children who have developmental delays. Through their proprietary ‘Family Support Program (FSP), and with the support of the LEGO foundation, families will have more opportunities to engage with their children in learning while promoting growth. Families will work with a Licensed Social Worker to assess their child’s needs and create an individualized Family Support Plan.

Tools are customized according to the child’s specific needs, and the resources are delivered directly to the patient’s home. The Family Support Program (FSP) begins at pre diagnosis and continues through their life span adapting to their individual support needs. The FSP program is able to support diagnosis such as: Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention Deficit Disorder (ADHD), Down Syndrome, as well as learning and intellectual disabilities.

Position: Associate LCSW

Experience: 2 to 5 Years

Salary: Competitive with the market

Responsibilities

• Provide therapeutic services to patients and their families
• Developing The Family Support Program
• Identify people and communities in need of help
• Provide clinical consultation in an integrated health care environment
• Creating individualized plans of care, monitoring and clients' progress
• Counsel patients and family/caregivers as needed and provide crisis intervention when necessary
• Maintain clinical records on all patients

Qualification and Skill Requirement

• All eligible candidates must have LCSW independent licenses in Virginia and have their own liability insurance
• Certification in Play Therapy is preferred but not mandatory
• Growth mindset that lead to leadership roles/supervisors
• Individuals who enjoy being a part of a team and enjoy cooperating with other disciplines
• Curiosity driven, always willing to learn and explore

Knowledge, Skills And Abilities Required

• Candidate must be passionate about working with children between the ages of 2-14 years of age
• Proficiency in: Counselling theories, Individual and group play therapy as used in individual
• Family and group treatment skills
• Knowledge of principles of social welfare
• Communication skills that support patients with cognitive impairment
• Teamwork skills
• Excellent interpersonal and critical thinking skills
• Commitment to clinical and documentation
• Passionate in helping children and their parents within a systemic framework
• Self-motivated

Pay: $60,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
