Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our addiction recovery work environment. As an LCSW, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive mental health services and support to individuals battling addiction. Your expertise in clinical assessments, therapy, case management, and community resources will help our clients on their journey to recovery. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop personalized treatment plans, facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, and provide ongoing counseling and support. Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments to evaluate clients' addiction history, mental health status, and psychosocial needs.

Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings, incorporating evidence-based practices and client-centered approaches.

Provide ongoing individual counseling, employing various therapeutic modalities to address addiction-related issues, mental health concerns, and co-occurring disorders.

Facilitate group therapy sessions to promote peer support, psychoeducation, and relapse prevention strategies.

Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team, including adult peer support specialists, community support advocates, and substance abuse counselors, to coordinate holistic treatment plans.

Offer crisis intervention services and develop safety plans for clients at risk of harm to themselves or others.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records, ensuring confidentiality and adherence to legal and ethical standards.

Assist clients in accessing community resources, such as support groups, vocational training, housing assistance, and other social services.

Stay informed about current research, best practices, and advancements in addiction treatment and mental health to enhance professional knowledge and skills.

Participate in supervision, team meetings, and professional development activities to ensure quality care and adherence to organizational policies.

Requirements:

Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited program.

Current state licensure as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or eligibility to obtain licensure in the relevant jurisdiction.

In-depth knowledge of addiction treatment modalities, evidence-based practices, and trauma-informed care.

Proficiency in conducting clinical assessments, diagnosing mental health disorders, and developing treatment plans.

Strong therapeutic skills, including individual and group counseling, crisis intervention, and relapse prevention.

Familiarity with community resources and ability to connect clients with appropriate support services.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to establish rapport with clients, families, and a diverse team of professionals.

Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary setting, demonstrating cultural sensitivity and respect for diversity.

Commitment to maintaining ethical standards, confidentiality, and professional boundaries.

Strong organizational and documentation skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
