OVERVIEW:
The Lease Analyst plays a key role on the Operational Finance team by summarizing and validating complex domestic leases. The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical thinking capabilities and great communication skills. You will also be enthusiastic; self-motivated and demonstrate the ability to drive results.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Abstract (summarize) complex domestic real estate leases to ensure conformity with negotiated deal terms and compliance with business tolerances
- Set-up domestic store occupancy expense terms for payment in Accruent system for both capital and non-capital lease documents.
- Review leases in detail and provide action items to Legal for joint resolution
- Track critical lease dates and provide reporting to our cross-functional partners
- Lend expertise to address lease related questions from our cross functional partners
- Perform system audits to ensure data integrity
- Exercise absolute adherence to data integrity and internal controls
- Share best practices across the department
- Participate in special projects

- Develop a clear understanding of lease processes and business issues
- Establish productive relationships with cross functional partners
- Work independently and on group projects
- Manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, tenacious attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent project management skills
- Enthusiastic, high energy, self-motivated
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Proficient with Accruent and/or Business Objects, a plus
- Bachelor’s Degree required and a post-bachelor’s paralegal certification a plus
